PrintWeek has teamed up with a raft of suppliers to produce the publication, which will be written and printed live at the giant exhibition.
In total eight partners will be involved in the hugely complex project.
Pre-press, proofing, imposition and computer-to-plate production will be handled by Creo and Kodak Polychrome Graphics.
Printing will be carried out by Komori on its double-decker Lithrone 540SP super-perfector, using SunChemical Gibbons new FinaSet quick drying ink.
The paper used will be UPM-Kymmenes new Finesse publication stock.
The Ipex Daily is tabloid format and will be printed in two 8pp sections. Friedheim International is installing MBO folding equipment specifically for the Daily on the Komori stand. It will fold the printed sections ready for stitching, which will be carried out over-night, off-site at TPL Printers in Kidderminster.
A Vio file transfer system will also allow the PrintWeek team to produce the 12 April issue of the magazine from the NEC.
The PrintWeek stand in Hall 9 will be home to Ipex Dailys editorial office. Our journalists will be scouring the show for the latest news.
