The deal is for the production of all magazines within the IPC Connect portfolio Woman, Womans Own, Womans Weekly, Chat and Now! together with Whats On TV, TV Times and the fortnightly Soaplife from the tx stable.
The relationship between IPC and Polestar is a long one, with the group having printed Women, Womens Own and Womens Weekly titles since the 1970s.
The titles are due to be split across Polestars magazine printing sites. Whats On TV and Now are to be printed at Polestar Petty in Leeds, Woman, Woman's Own, Women's Weekly and Chat at Polestar Purnell in Bristol, and TV Times at Polestar Chantry in Wakefield.
Soap Life is currently printed at Polestar Watford, but is due to be moved to the Petty or Chantry plant following the decision to close the Watford site.
Polestars operations director David Holland said: It is the experience that we have gained, coupled with the support and flexibility we have shown in absorbing a range of schedule and product changes, that exemplifies our relationship with IPC.
Jasper Scott, manufacturing director of IPC Media said: In the past two years, Polestar has demonstrated that it has both the vision and commitment to become the UKs leading magazine printer.
This contract renewal demonstrates our faith in Polestars ability to turn vision into reality and commitment into delivery and service.
