The 160-page title is larger than the Marie Claire magazine at 245 x 327mm and with a cover price of £6 is aimed at "women who live and breathe fashion and have the means to buy it".
Printed by Ancient House Press in a 40,000 print run, the magazine is available in the UK, as well as Italy, US and Canada.
The over-sized magazine "has large-scale pages as it is about being big and premium and giving real standout to the visuals, in a very visual product," according to a spokeswoman. "The scale also gives Marie Claire Runway additional standout at the newsstand."
Marie Claire editor-in-chief Trish Halpin says: "Fashion is a key part of Marie Claire’s DNA and a huge passion for many of our readers, so we’re very excited to be launching Runway."
The second issue will be available at the end of August.
