Learnpackaging.org provides tailored online learning programmes to meet the needs of the employer and the individual, which lead to a recognised qualification.
Both courses can be taken at the students own pace up to 12 months for the Certificate and 18 months for the Diploma with regular tutor contact and assessments. Employers and tutors can also use a tracking tool to monitor progress.
Once complete, the qualification is awarded by the IoPs newly created Packaging Industry Awarding Body Company.
The IoP is now poised to become the centre of excellence for training for the packaging industry, not only in the UK but worldwide, and is part of our mission for the future, said chief executive John Webb-Jenkins.
