The machine, which was installed last week at the Midsomer Norton-based business, complements its capabilities for processing secure, critical customer communications and high volume direct marketing applications, in addition to its digital channels.
Mark Cornford, CEO of Integrity Communications Group, said: “Integrity Connect is achieving 20% year on year growth and its vital that we support our customers‘ commitment to us by ensuring we have the firepower to ensure we meet their needs.”
David Wright, managing director at Integrity Connect, added: “We needed to increase our mailing output capabilities and replace some of our legacy inserting equipment.
“Having had a positive experience with the Bowe Group, who supplied us with a high speed letter sorting machine in 2021 and who have provided first class service support for all of our mailing equipment, it was logical to invest in one of their high speed Fusion Cross inserting systems.”
Dave Meredith, production director at Integrity Connect, also commented: “We have a reputation for reliability and responsiveness and the Fusion Cross gives us a fast and versatile platform.”
He said the device has two input channels, allowing the business to feed work to it from both its continuous and cut-sheet inkjet lines.
“It also has camera matching between the input channels and on three of the insert feeders for processing highly personalised mailings.
“The Fusion Cross is very operator friendly, enabling us to enclose into DL, C5 and C4 outer envelopes with minimal makeready time.”
The device has six insert feeders in total.
Steve Basnett, UK senior account manager for the Bowe Group, said the business was delighted to build on its existing business partnership with Integrity Connect.
“It starts with people and trust. Ian LeBrun our national service manager, and our team of performance engineers, have delivered a gold standard of service for both Bowe equipment and legacy third-party equipment, building the confidence for a long-term business relationship,” Basnett said.
“The Fusion Cross provides the versatility that Integrity Connect and their clients’ applications demand for both transactional and direct marketing based applications.”
The holding company that owns Integrity Print, A1 Security Print, Alliance Labels and a raft of other businesses rebranded to Integrity Communications Group last year to better reflect the breadth of the group.
Integrity Communications Group’s accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, which have just been filed at Companies House, show that the business achieved a turnover of £66.2m in 2023 – up from £61.2m in 2022.
