The companies said this would provide users with added metadata capabilities, enabling greater workflow automation while streamlining the printing process.
Alwan president Elie Khoury said: “This partnership allows Alwan to focus on improving our core technology: the conversion and optimisation of colour.
“Switch adds automation capabilities to file handling and metadata, which is an added benefit to our users.”
In a related deal, Alwan has signed up to Gradual’s Crossroads initiative, which promotes a “multi-vendor communication platform for publishing automation”.
