The new range, which became available from Innotech Digital in mid July, consists of more than 30 high-quality substrates for solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable printers.
The products in the range include WallFrog, MotoMark, Matt White Semi-Rigid Vinyl, WallMark Canvas, Static Cling, Dry Erase Laminates, AutoMark, Gloss Clear Vinyl, Polymeric Gloss, Polymeric Matt, Traffic Graffic and Concept 285 Roughmark.
The supplier said the latter two products will be particularly attractive to signmakers. Traffic Graffic is a matt carpet vinyl that is said to create vibrant, durable and eye-catching floor signage for carpets that won't damage, peel or curl.
Concept 285 Roughmark, meanwhile, is a conformable, calendered, high-tack vinyl that can be applied to any rough surface, such as bricks and rough walls, but can be removed without leaving any residue up to six months after installation.
The products, which will be available for next-day delivery, can be used on carpets, walls, motorbikes, cars and commercial vehicles and installed in restaurants, classrooms, offices, homes and retail outlets, among others.
Innotech Digital marketing manager Kieran Dallow said: “Traditionally in our range we’ve had standard monomeric and polymeric vinyls in matt and gloss finishes as well as a selection of laminates, whereas the General Formulations range is very much a polymeric range of vinyls, with at least a five-year durability on most of the vinyls.
“The biggest bonus for us to have in this range is the specialist vinyls, which take our whole offering forward. There’s tried and proven vinyls for vehicles, floors and walls, which we know work and this has given us a lot of confidence to promote the complete range.
“We feel this range is great for any kind of signage company that’s looking to go into new markets and identify new opportunities but it is very much geared around the vehicle wrapping firms as well as anyone that’s doing interior wall applications or short-term floor promotions.”
While prices were not disclosed, Dallow said “certain products come in a lot lower than competing products” and that “there are significant savings to be had” in some cases.
