"We ended up agreeing on a figure funded by savings that would be driven through the business supported by the GPMU," said Polestar Direct managing director Geoff Mordt.
The savings will be made by productivity increases, achieved through ongoing discussions between the union and the firm.
"The company has agreed to the claim that the chapel members made of 2.75%, which will be backdated to 1 January," said Ted Scott, deputy branch secretary central Midlands GPMU.
"It's where we wanted to be and I think it's better for both parties," added Mordt.
The talks finished at 7pm last night (Tuesday 27 July). "The ballots off now and we're just waiting for the chapel to endorse it," said Scott.
