Production of the Inca Onset series, which comprises the Onset, Onset S20, Onset S70, and the newly launched Onset S40, has been ramped up at the company's Cambridge facility.
Dr Linda Bell, chief executive at Inca Digital, said: "The success of the Onset products worldwide over the past three years has raised the quality bar in digitally printed graphics and demonstrated the considerable market for fast turnaround, quality display graphics on a wide range of materials and at a competitive price.
"We are actively recruiting to further increase staffing levels by 20% across the board and have worked hard with our suppliers to add the capacity to respond to the higher demand."
The newest addition to the range is the Onset S40, a mid-range version, which aims to combine production efficiency with low cost-per-print.
The machine can print at speeds up to 470sqm an hour and fits in the existing Onset portfolio between the 310sqm-an-hour S20 and the 750sqm-an-hour S70.
According to Inca, the latest addition to the Onset battery couples "best-in-class" quality with high levels of performance, making it ideal for POS, exhibition displays, outdoor signage and backlit displays.
