The printer, which is designed for the production of POP, exhibition graphics, backlit displays and outdoor signage, can now output at speeds up to 700msqm an hour.
This represents a 16% increase in printing speeds on the machine, which can print on a maximum area of 3.2 x 1.5m.
Its latest printing breakthrough comes a year after Inca introduced a new bi-directional printing technique that, at its time, boosted the Onset's productivity by 25% from 500sqm to 600sqm per hour.
Inca's Onset can now also apply a high-end gloss to prints in addition to its existing satin and semi gloss modes.
Heather Kendle, Inca Digital director of marketing, said the latest options allow customers to boost their product offering to their client base.
"We will continue to push the boundaries of our inkjet technology to give companies the best and most flexible results from our machines," she added.
