Imprinta is a leading internationally established event with a respected reputation better than that of many other print fairs, said Messe Dsseldorf division director Manfred Kotschedoff. However, since crucial names in the industry decided not to participate in Imprinta 2003, it cannot be realised on the planned international scope as agreed with the industry long ago.
Messe Dsseldorf has decided to hold a German-speaking event instead, covering pre-press, printing and finishing. It will take place over the same period that Imprinta 2003 was scehduled to run next February in parallel with the German Printing and Media Federation (BVDM) print and media congress.
Imprinta 2006 will be held from 20-25 February.
