The 12,000 copies per hour, four-year-old Bravo Plus was specified with an automatic waste extraction system, enabling the operators to focus on running the machine rather than cleaning up waste, and a Perfetto stacker.
Chris Keel, sales manager at Imagery UK, said: "Having the new Muller Martini Stitcher enables our finishing operatives to run at over double the speed of the the Sheridan which has clear benefits to the business.
"Throughout the month we produce a number of products that range from a 16pp A5 through to 96pp A4 that are produced now with relative ease whereas before the stitching element always posed us a problem with capacity.
"Having the ability to run the stitcher at 12,000 copies per hour will halve the amount of hours that certain jobs are in our finishing department."
Keel added that opting for the Perfetto stacker alongside the Bravo Plus would give Imagery UK's bindery operatives valuable time to box up the products in the final stages.
Imagery UK has a full in-house finishing department, including a Wohlenberg 10 station perfect binder, two B1 Heidelberg Stahl Folders, one Heidelberg 52 Stahl Folder, a B2 Heidelberg Cylinder cutter and creaser and an Autobond B1 laminating machine.
The firm runs a 10 colour B1 Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102 press and specialises in publication and commercial print.
