Hyway Printing Group has appointed a new group managing director, David Harrison, to help navigate the company through its on-going investment programme.
Harrison was formerly European operations director at CarnaudMetalbox Speciality Packaging, where he had responsibility for quality control at 17 plants in eight countries.
Harrison said: "Hyways commitment to growth and the determination to increase its reputation makes for a high degree of job satisfaction. With the new 12-colour Mitsubishi being installed later this year, Im looking forward to an exciting and long career."
The firm ordered the M3 FR 12 waterless perfecting press, which should be online in June, as part of the 5m programme.
Hyway has also installed a 220,000 PlateRite 8000 thermal CTP system with TaigaSPACE digital workflow from Screen UK.
The London-based printer will have converted its entire operation to waterless printing by the summer, in accordance with its own environmental policy.
