While the 3.2m-wide Latex 2700 series printers were launched in October 2022, Fespa marks the first outing at an international show for the series – HP is demonstrating the 2700W model, which features white ink.
HP Large Format global strategy director Oscar Vidal said white was opening up new possibilities, particularly for applications like vehicle wrapping.
Sustainability, HP’s Latex technology, and the digital transformation of the industry are all high on the manufacturer’s agenda.
Its stand (A2-D10) packed with décor and furniture printed on HP’s own kit using recyclable materials, Vidal added: “We want to send the message to the industry that HP is on the leading edge when it comes to sustainability, and we’re very proud of this.”
On the Latex side, Vidal said the technology “equips our customers to do many things – to be creative, to provide versatility, and to be able to provide endless possibilities”.
Finally, on digital transformation, Vidal added: “We have a unique opportunity to help print shop owners to transform the way they’re working – to become more digital and to streamline their production.”
