As a part of this initiative, HP will reach out to the print buying companies in wide-format sector, offering them solutions through the printers using HP machines.
"It will enable them to cut down printing costs," said B K Prakash, business manager for Insight Print Communications. For this, printers using HP wide-format machines have been included in the HP's print service provider list divided into categories of ¬ indoor UV, solvent, latex and outdoor UV. Currently, 215
HP wide-format machines are spread among 144 customers across 39 cities and 23 states.
But not every HP customer is included in the list. "The HP Digital Print Network (DPN) is a network of wide format printers across India who are certified and audited by HP. The HP certification ensures that each of our print servie providers (PSPs) use technologically superior HP equipment and consumables to give you high quality print results each time," said Prakash.
This, he feels will benefit the company's brand because it can communicate effectively, efficiently and consistently with its consumers.
Equipped with a comprehensive line of capable digital printers, the DPN capacity as on January, 2010 is: 15 lakh sq/ft per day in solvent and five lakh sq/ft per day in UV for outdoor printing, along with four lakh sq/ft per day across different technologies like eco-solvent, UV and Latex for indoor printing.
