The deal for the Bardon business, now named Bardon Mailing Company, was completed last week, shortly after Howitt also bought Vertis' former Croydon plant from investor Mark Scanlon.
Vertis Leicester was placed in administration last month after Scanlon bought Vertis' UK DM interests.
