Hodgson joins Lorien as technical director
Lorien Unique has appointed Tony Hodgson as technical director as the digital print firm aims to expand its service for customers.
Hodgson joins with responsibility for developing Lorien Unique's one-to-one marketing production system, allowing customers to check the progress of their campaign. He previously developed and implemented digital workflow technology at Kodak, Documedia Solutions and Kall Kwik.
"We are looking to grow what we have already and we do not want to be seen as just a printer," said Lorien Unique marketing and business development director Dan Pike.
The company is anticipating two new business wins before the end of the year and, according to Pike, if they go through it should pave the way for further investment in equipment. Lorien Unique currently has three HP Indigo 3000 presses and an HP Indigo w3200 digital web.
Earlier this year the company moved to a new 2,200sqm facility in Colnbrook, Berkshire and took on seven additional staff.
