The deal, announced at Drupa, follows UK-based Glossop Cartons becoming the first Beam beta site earlier in this year.
Ken Pepper, chief executive of All Packaging, said: “It has speeds of up to 5,000sph on B1 size, wider substrate range, and built-in scrap stripping capabilities. This will fit perfectly into our production workflows, and will open up new markets.”
Highcon also unveiled web-to-pack store-front Axis at Drupa. The online ordering platform designed for on-demand digital packaging applications, is powered by Esko and XMPie uStore web-to-print technology. It is capable of online 3D previewing and editing. Switzerland-based LxBxH will beta test Highcon Axis.
Israel-based Ilan Print has been named as beta for the new B2 Highcon Pulse, which will ship in early 2017.
