Based in the UK it is headed up by industry veteran Philip Willems, who was most recently a director of newspaper workflow specialist Parascan and previously with Agfa.
"I am confident it is the most advanced MIS," said Willems. "Hiflex works very well with Agfa's Delano and we are working on a joint project with Agfa. Hiflex is a preferred partner to both Agfa and Creo."
The firm's focus will be on the Top 500 print firms in the UK.
"Larger firms are more advanced and are ready for this technology," he said.
He said that he already had three major UK firms interested in the software.
Willems, who is managing director of the UK-based division of Hiflex is currently assembling a team of support staff and engineers.
Plans are underway for a series of events with Agfa and Creo in the UK to promote and demonstrate Hiflex products.
Willems said Drupa was a success for the firm, where it made contact with a further 10 potential UK customers.
