The company has secured the contract to manage the printing of Brittany Ferries brochures and will bring their printing back to the UK after years on the continent.
We were initially very sceptical about transferring the business to a print management company, said a Brittany Ferries spokesperson, but the cost savings and professional service HH demonstrated made a difficult decision easy.
Sutton-based HH now expects its turnover to reach more than 25m.
HH will manage the printing of nine different brochures, up to a maximum of 440pp and runs up to 850,000.
HHs European production director, Stephen McKenna, said the company was able to offer Brittany Ferries lower prices due to a combination of currency fluctuations and its strong relationships with UK web offset printers.
Were not splitting the work around too much, he added. McKenna had considered placing some of the work with gravure printers, but opted instead to produce everything web offset as it offered the group more flexibility.
HH has close business ties with half a dozen UK web offset printers offering production from 16pp to 64pp.
McKenna and another two HH staff will provide a dedicated account management service to Brittany Ferries.
The brochures are produced in one big production cycle every year through October and November.
The contract is ongoing and McKenna said HH was talking to other business areas within the Brittany Ferries group.
HH has also gained ISO 9001 quality management certification.
HH clients include
Carphone Warehouse
Thomson Holidays
The Labour Party
The Post Office
Royal Mail
Unilever
