The Sunday Times International Track 200, published on 13 July, ranked entrants’ international sales growth over the most recent two years available.
York Mailing, which appeared in the list for the second year running, was ranked 134th on the basis of its average international sales growth of 32.4% per annum for the two-year period.
The bulk of the York-based commercial print group’s overseas sales were to Scandinavia and Ireland.
Chief executive Chris Ingram said: 'We are very pleased to have maintained our place in The Sunday Times International Fast Track, which is recognition of the strong relationship we have built up with our overseas clients and is testament that UK printers can be a force to be reckoned with in continental Europe."
He added: "However the strengthening pound will certainly make this ability to compete a little tougher, but I am confident that we will maintain a foothold in those markets where we have become a key supplier."
HH Global recorded average international sales growth of 22.6% per annum, taking its overseas revenues from £55.1m to £82.8m in the two-year period.
During that time the Sutton-headquartered print manager and marketing services provider opened offices in Argentina, Korea, Malaysia and South Africa.
Tony Massey, chief marketing officer at HH Global, said: “HH Global is delighted to be recognised by The Sunday Times International Track for its hard efforts in recent years, and also to be lined up alongside such an impressive array of equally worthy winners.
“We would like to thank all our employees, clients and suppliers who have made significant contributions in making HH Global the success it is today.”
Also featured in the list were Kent-based giftwrap, Christmas card and paper napkin manufacturer Swan Mill Holdings (120 in the list) and Ipswich based packaging manufacturer Erben (54).
International sales across all 200 companies in the table grew by an average of 36% a year over two years to a total of £8.5bn. International sales growth ranged from 19% pa to 364% pa.
The most popular overseas market was mainland Europe (165), followed by North America (102). Half the companies overseas sales were focused in one or two continents, although a fifth had key markets in four or more continents.
The top-ranked company was Tandom Metallurgical Group, which recycles and exports metals to Europe, China and India. It had international sales of £21.9m in 2013, up 364% a year compared to £1m in 2011.
The International Track 200 is an expansion of the International Track 100 league table, published in 2010 and 2011; the minimum sales threshold was increased from £5m to £25m for the expanded table.
