The tour will visit some of the largest groups and independent firms around the country. It starts this week and runs through to mid-May.
Heidelberg packaging specialist Paul Thompson said: “We will introduce our latest developments in pre-press, press, and finishing and emphasise our move into large-format production and our growth in die-cutting and folder box gluing.
“An image control unit will travel with us for a live demonstration to show how this technology, combined with other Prinect workflow tools, can enable printers to help end users protect and enhance their branding and image.”
To support the tour, Heidelberg will operate a packaging showroom at its open house in Tamworth from 22 to 24 May alongside the existing commercial printing demonstration area.
