Higgins, who has worked at the manufacturer for more than 25 years, will be responsible for promoting sales of the integrated Prinect system and will project-manage the workflow through each deployment process to completion.

He will work closely with Heidelberg’s Prinect and CTP business manager Lance O’Connell.

Higgins, who started at Heidelberg as a service engineer, said: "In my previous role I was selling Prinect and our consumables range of products. My new role is going to be slightly more technical. In addition to helping customers understand the scale and scope of the Prinect software modules I will also be able to give them more information on staying up to date with software contract packages."

O’Connell added: "Graham has extensive technical and sales experience and will help customers understand how to get the best from the technology."
