The Colchester-based litho firm installed the platesetter in December and runs it with Fuji Pro-T chemistry-free plates to eliminate unnecessary chemicals.
The kit is also linked to a Prinect Prepress Interface, which is claimed to cut waste paper by ensuring fast and accurate presetting.
Phil Hammond, managing director of 10-staff printer, told printweek.com the firm's customers had become increasingly aware of the need to buy green.
"Over the last six months, more and more people have been asking how we can print in a more environmentally friendly manner.
"The investment was a customer-driven move, enabling them to buy in a more ethical fashion."
The Auto Load function of the Suprasetter is expected to speed up production and minimise manning, according to Hammond.
