In his new role Harris fills the gap left by Aaron Archer, who left YouLovePrint to join Precision Proco Group’s Prime business.
Harris has worked in the industry for more than 30 years in a variety of sales and business growth roles. The new appointment also marks his return to Pureprint, where held a business development role for nearly four-and-a-half years up until October 2013.
Most recently, he worked as an e-commerce fulfilment consultant and prior to that he held a business development role at Cimpress-owned Tradeprint. His career also includes senior positions at DS Smith, Healeys, Office Depot and Printhaus.
YouLovePrint was co-founded by Ed Handford, the son of Pureprint CEO Mark Handford, and Lloyd Bromhead who previously headed up sales to financial clients at St Ives Westerham Press. It started trading in 2017.
The web-to-print firm’s clients includes creatives and print managers.
Pureprint Group took a majority stake in the business in 2018.
Harris said that, despite the crowded web-to-print marketplace, he believed the business had a unique proposition through access to Pureprint Group’s extensive manufacturing facilities.
“All too often the online marketplace has been about price - clearly we have to offer value for money, but for us, it’s also very much about quality and ensuring everything is produced in the most environmentally responsible way.”
Pureprint CEO Mark Handford commented: “I am delighted that Kelly has agreed to re-join the business. With more buyers migrating away from traditional print purchase solutions for standardised print products, accelerated by Covid challenges, we want to continue to grow this part of the business and build on its successes.”
Pureprint Group had sales of £60.4m in its most recent accounts, for 2019.
