The Bradford-based firm's move comes as part of a 500,000 investment in preparing its site for CTP. Hallmark is also using Creo's Staccato FM screening as part of its efforts to improve quality and colour for its greetings cards range.
"We have a strong ethic based on the quality of our products," said Hallmark technology director David Sowden. "We choose our suppliers with this ethic in mind."
The firm produces around 1,200 plates per week for its five MAN Roland presses and a Heidelberg Speedmaster. The installation of the Magnus enables Hallmark to achieve full plate production within a 10-day cycle.
