Normanton, West Yorkshire-headquartered Hague completed the acquisition of Curdworth, West Midlands-based Triform on 2 January. The deal came about after Hague approached Triform after hearing it was up for sale.
Established in 1989 as a print broker, Triform saw substantial growth through the 1990s via an expanding client base and a move to a more diverse product range, which lead to its 2000 repositioning as a specialist print management company.
The current team at Triform will all stay on, with existing managing director Wayne Margetts continuing to run the business as a division of Hague. The operation will continue to trade as Triform for the immediate future.
Hague Group managing director Graham Wain said: “We are extremely happy to welcome Triform into the Hague family. Triform have established a reputation for providing outstanding service and value to their customers over the last 30 years, and we look forward to building on that success.”
Margetts added: “We are excited about becoming part of an established group such as Hague, which will enhance our purchasing power and access to new and exciting products and services.”
The acquisition is Hague’s third in the space of a year, following its purchases of Contrac in January 2018 and Venture Business Forms in October 2018.
Founded in 1980, Hague Print supplies security documents, security labels, holographic foils, cheques and certificates in more than 50 countries. The business, which has 10 locations across the UK, employs over 100 people and turns over more than £30m.
