The machine, which has been installed at its Kettering site, means the firm is now 100% CTP for litho work, retaining film output for its screen printing division for now.
GreenShires was the UKs first Lotem Quantum customer at its Leicester site two years ago. Both machines are driven by Creos Brisque workflow. The new machine at Kettering also has the Spectrum halftone proofing option.
GreenShires bought the second machine from Essex-based Repro Sales and Repairs (RSR). RSR acquired it from finance firm Lombard, and said that in the current climate many firms were looking at secondhand CTP.
