Graphics and Print launches fantasy football league

Shropshire-based Graphics and Print is giving local football fans the chance to win big in its fantasy football league, while doing their bit for charity.

Entry is free and anyone can join. The company is putting up a monthly prize of £25 for participants and a further £25 for a charity of the winner’s choice. The Telford firm has also pledged to award £100 to the overall winner and a £300 donation for their chosen cause.

Sales and marketing director Mike Hutton said all 21 staff members were football mad. "Most support local teams so I get stick for being a Chelsea supporter. But I’ve supported them since they were rubbish, honest."

Embarrassingly, Graphics and Print’s own client relationship manager Gary Jarvis (pictured, left, with MD Martin Kells) won the first month but Hutton said there was no "skulduggery" involved.

"He deliberately tried to lose by betting on Southampton to beat Manchester United – then they almost did."
