GMAB adds Bergamot to PM firm portfolio

London-based print management firm Bergamot has been bought by GMAB Holdings for an undisclosed sum.

20m-turnover Bergamot is the UK's 15th-largest print management firm, with clients including BA, Kuoni and Moss Bross.

The five-staff firm was set up by managing director Lorna Ramsey Vosper (pictured) in the early '80s. It is GMAB's second acquisition after buying print manager Lordswood in 2004.

Lordswood has a 3m turnover and specialises in point of sale for pharmaceutical and publishing clients.

GMAB is made up of Gary Anderson and Mark Box, whose previous experience lies in accountancy and marketing respectively.

"We saw print as a sector that provided great opportunity," Anderson said. "Our strategy is based on there being consolidation."

GMAB is currently considering further organic and acquisitive growth in the print management sector.

Vosper said: "Becoming part of the GMAB group provides a significant springboard for Bergamot's growth."
