Earlier today (Friday) the company’s answerphone message said that it was closed.
However, later this afternoon a woman at the Sidcup-based company, who refused to be identified, declined to comment on whether the company was currently trading.
She added that none of the company’s directors were available, but that a statement from managing director Brian Mickels was imminent.
Earlier this month Geliot Hurner Ewen lost the agency to sell Perfecta guillotines in the UK to Graphic Arts Equipment, which it had held for more than 50 years.
