The company was placed first in the technology/finishing category at the industry's Innovation Awards.
Herzog and Heymann received the accolade for its "innovative solutions", and in particular, for its folding unit for diagonally folded products.
General manager Andreas Ringhofer said: "We are very proud of receiving this award for the fifth time in a row, and it shows that our aim of continual development of innovative solutions is perfectly meeting customer requirements."
