G&E 2000, a subsidiary of Thomas Potts, has acquired periodical and commercial repro house Digital Reproductions.
Digital Reproductions' five staff will now relocate from Huntingdon to G&E's Peterborough headquarters.
Founder and managing director Brian Swinson will also join G&E in the role of new business development director.
The acquisition continues Thomas Potts' strategy of investment in digital pre-media, on-demand imaging and media-related production services.
The transaction will also extend the range of periodical production workflow facilities available from G&E's Cambridge and Peterborough operations.
Thomas Potts group commercial director Mark Scanlon said: "Our intention is continue to grow in this part of the market, through technology-based investment and further acquisitions."
Only last month, Scanlon denied that G&E 2000 was preparing to take over Digital Reproductions.
