The news comes just a week after Cradley Print successfully secured a new three-year deal with International Magazine Services to print both Time and Newsweek magazines (PrintWeek, 3 May).
Future Publishings commercial director, Ian Linkins, said the company was "moving around a lot of titles, placing a lot more work with fewer printers as part of a rationalisation".
As a result, the Future titles printed at Cradley Print, which include Mountain Biking UK, Total Guitar, Computer Arts (UK), Edge, 3D World and Create Online, will be removed.
This will lead to work with a value of 2m being placed at Futures three remaining print suppliers: ET Heron, Southernprint and TPL.
"We have kept Cradley Print informed at all times, and the withdrawal of magazine work is not a reflection on their performance," said Linkins.
