Parent company Fujifilm reported a 4.4% increase in global revenues for its Information Solutions division, which includes graphic arts products, for the six months leading up to 30 September.
Fuji doesnt disclose its UK figures, but UK marketing manager Graham Leeson said its market penetration in violet products was increasing.
As with other suppliers, sales of film were falling, he said, but as one product nears the end of its life, CTP is still ramping up.
In equipment sales, Fuji has had both quiet patches and busy patches, Leeson added.
Operating income in Fujifilms Information Solutions division dropped 17.4% during the period compared to the previous year.
The Information Solutions division accounted for 30% of total revenues.
More than half of Fujifilms overall revenues during the half-year came from its domestic market in Japan.
