Fujifilm Dimatix celebrates 25 years of inkjet print head progress

Fujifilm Dimatix has fted its 25th anniversary of developing piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet technology.

To recognise the silver anniversary year, Fujifilm Dimatix unveiled a 25th anniversary logo which celebrates its dedication to ‘Inkjet Excellence and Innovation.’

Martin Schoeppler, president of Fujifilm Dimatix, said: "Over the last 25 years, Fujifilm Dimatix has developed drop-on-demand ink jet printheads known around the world for their ability to sustainably jet ink and many other fluids at high frequencies without trading off drop placement accuracy."

Print head manufacturer Dimatix was acquired by Fuji in 2006 to bolster its industrial inkjet portfolio.

Last year, Fujifilm launched its B2 format inkjet digital press, which incorporates Samba, the inkjet platform developed by Fujifilm Dimatix.
