The companies will have a joint presence at the show, run by the Photo Marketing Association, and plan to demonstrate product offerings that feature Fujifilm's workflow software and Imaging Intelligence technology coupled with Xerox printers, including the iGen 3 110 and DocuColor 252.
The collaboration is targeting markets in the retail and photo lab sectors, which the companies claim will make it easy for consumers to have personalised photo products, including books, calendars and school yearbooks produced.
Quincy Allen, president of the Xerox production systems group, said "the photo specialty print market is exploding", while John Meyer, vice president of commercial marketing for Fujifilm USA, added: "We give photo retailers and photo labs, both large and small, access to a new revenue stream."
According to Fujifilm, a recent InfoTrends study found that revenues in the specialty photo printing market are expected to hit £407m ($800m) by 2010.
PMA 2008 takes place from 31 January to 2 February in Las Vegas.
