It has selected Dynastrip to sell alongside Preps as it offers a less expensive option for smaller B2 customers and also has some features that make it more flexible.
Fuji's move follows Agfa, which sells the software and works with UK Dynagram distributor Crisp Digital. Both have recently sold two copies each to Agfa clients.
Crisp Digital managing director Richard Crisp said the firm has had a lot of interest recently in Dynastrip as customers invest in their workflows. There are 2,000 UK users of the Dynagram QuarkXTension Imposition, but many users are now moving to a standalone product that can be integrated into an automated workflow. Dynastrip is JDF 1.2 compatible and an automatic hot-folder driven version is available.
