Simon Fry has joined the Bristol-based inks, chemicals and pre-press equipment supplier as finance director from SCA. His CV includes other printing industry experience with Foilwraps Flexible Packaging in Northampton and NMC Flexible Packaging in Bristol.
Former finance director John Paul suddenly resigned two months ago (PrintWeek, 26 April).
The firm has now amalgamated its sales order processing, customer queries and export departments into one to improve service.
It also hopes to reduce the number of multiple-drop deliveries with the integration of IT systems, which will be fully functional by the autumn.
Head of marketing Richard Edwards said Bousfield was on track to deliver target levels of profitability.
