Friedheim will be responsible for the sales, service and spare parts provision for the Dutch manufacturer, which went into administration last year, closing its UK arm in the process and subsequently being bought by two investment firms in August.
The agreement is effective immediately and Friedheim has taken on three staff, who will now be based out of its Hemel Hempstead headquarters.
Friedheim managing director Mark Bristow said: "Although Friedheim has a presence in almost all areas of conventional post-press, digital and packaging activities, Buhrs is a key player in high speed wrapping applications and a respected brand.
"With the type of high-quality products we are now taking on, this is a very exciting move."
Ruud Oud, sales and marketing manager at Buhrs, added: "We are happy to be able to serve our customers again. In Friedheim International we see an ideal home in a professional organisation for the quality products that Buhrs stands for, and we are convinced that we will see a successful future together."
