The work of two UK printers will be highlighted by HP Indigo commercial print market development manger Vivian Cohen-Leisorek in a free webinar tomorrow.

The 60-minute webinar, entitled Creative Marketing with Digital Print, will be hosted by US-based online paper database PaperSpecs, at 7pm UK time on 23 October. It is sponsored by US paper company Neenah Paper.

Cohen-Leisorek will give 12 examples of innovative designs from HP Indigo customers around the world. "We chose companies for their creativity, print quality and uniqueness of ideas," she said.

Pureprint Group's work on a catalogue for paper manufacturer GF Smith will form part of the presentation.

Each of the 10,000 catalogues' sleeves is unique, created using an algorithm that converts light and sound waves into digitally printed images. They were printed on an HP Indigo 7500 in CYMK and HP's white ink.

The Pantone Queen Swatchbook, which was produced by Precision Print in conjunction with advertising agency Leo Burnett, will also be highlighted.

The 12 designs were picked from entrants to HP's Print Excellence Awards and other examples that impressed HP Indigo staff while visiting international clients.

In the talk, Cohen-Leisorek will also discuss trends in digital printing. "It will all be aimed at designers, print buyers and printers that are interested in learning how other companies have solved problems using digital print," she said.

PaperSpecs founder Sabine Lenz said Cohen-Leisorek – who is based at HP Indigo Division's headquarters in Nes Ziona, Israel – was well placed to talk about the digital printing industry.

"She has true international experience. That's why she has the case studies to show and not just tell us about digital print," she said.

Other featured products include an X-ray invitation, printed shoes and a photobook designed to be displayed in an aquarium.

The webinar has a capacity of 1,200 but Lenz said PaperSpecs will try to accommodate as many people as possible. Register at www.paperspecs.com/webinar
