Former Graphic Inline worker in 100k jackpot

A former printer with Graphic Inline has scooped a 104,000 jackpot, less than five months after being made redundant by the company.

Alan Snow, also a former GPMU member, was made redundant from his job as number one web printer with the Leicester-based direct mail specialist in March this year.

Since then he has been struggling to make ends meet with a job as a delivery driver.

Snow, aged 63, of Burbage, Leicestershire, staked 2 on a Tote's Scoop6 bet, with all his six selections coming in first past the post.

His winnings totalled 104,269, and Snow now stands a chance of winning an 89,375 bonus if he selects the winner the following week.

Snow said he would now use part of his winnings to pay off the remainder of his mortgage.
