Fomer Apprentice winner Lee McQueen hunts print talent

A former winner of hit TV show The Apprentice is on the look out for print talent to work with equipment supplier Advanced Business Equipment (ABE).

ABE has signed a recruitment deal with Lee McQueen (who won the 2008 version of the show) and his company Raw Talent Academy. An audition day will be held on 24 February, with up to six new roles up for grabs.

McQueen said: "The Raw Talent Academy process enables ABE to take a look at prospective employees through business tasks and real-life situations, as opposed to judging candidates purely on their CVs.

"With the academy tasks designed specifically to suit ABE and their criteria for future employees it allows them to see first hand what the candidates can do, both individually and when part of a team."

Each candidate will go through an extensive "audition process" by participating in a series of business tasks and team building challenges in front of a panel of senior management staff from Xerox and HP partnered ABE.

ABE sales manager John Rivett-Carnac added: "We are looking to add to our current team to expand on our recent successes and develop further growth within the managed print service sector."
