It received a 2.4m grant from the Scottish Executive with the remaining 7.6m provided by its US parent, Chesapeake.
The refurbished site, which can produce 1m cartons a day, also houses a new MAN Roland 900 and two new gluing machines. Nearly 200 staff were made redundant in the consolidation, but 116 new people have joined the East Kilbride site, creating a 284-strong workforce.
