Euro Media Solutions to be liquidated as director moves to Belgravia

Euro Media Solutions, which bought insolvent Essex-based printer Bridge Communications in January, is on the verge of liquidation.

Meanwhile Euro Media director John Ruck has moved on to north London-based print house Church Street Litho, which is trading as Belgravia Colour Printers.

A spokeswoman for insolvency practitioner Begbies Traynor confirmed that practitioners Lloyd Biscoe and James Taylor were assisting Loughton-based Euro Media Solutions, which had been trading as Bridge Communications.

She told PrintWeek that the business had now ceased trading and was expected to go into liquidation at a meeting of creditors, the date of which she could not confirm.

PrintWeek has seen an email sent by Ruck, informing customers: "I have had to close Bridge Communications. On a more positive note, I have joined forces with Belgravia Colour Printers."

The email also states that he has brought with him a B1 Scitex machine, along with specialist finishing equipment.

Ruck was unavailable for comment.

Ruck was not initially part of Euro Media Solutions, which was headed up by Paul White. White resigned as director on 28 April 2009, while Ruck, who was understood to have been involved in the management of the company in the interim, was appointed as director on 9 May.

Belgravia Colour Printers went into administration on 16 July 2008, to be bought in a pre-pack by Church Street Litho, which is owned by former Belgravia managing director Martin Draycott.
