FlowDrive 5 the latest version of its commercial print workflow uses Eclipse, the latest version of Global Graphics Harlequin RIP.

There is more demand for high-level colour management as awareness rises about the quality and workflow efficiency that can be achieved.
Esko-Graphics has also upgraded its packaging workflow software PackEdge 3.0, and plate-layout and step and repeat software for packaging and labels Plato 2.0.
Features in the new version of PackEdge include integration with Eskos workflow server BackStage and a new automated trapping module ColorStitch.
Plato 2.0 can extract varnish plate information from ArtiosCAD, adds automated folding carton step & repeat and can export data to Polar guillotines.
BackStageEdit and PlatoEdit are new client/server versions of Plato and PackEdge that work with BackStage.
Frank Adegeest, senior product manager for packaging applications software, said: We have provided stronger input and output file compatibility.
