Richard Roth, who started in the role on 1 April, will be based remotely from the UK, with frequent visits to Esko’s headquarters in Ghent, Belgium.
The move follows Eddy Fadel – who has served as EMEA general manager for the last three years – taking up the position of global commercial general manager, where he will oversee worldwide sales, services, marketing and product management.
Roth has worked in the Danaher Product Identification platform for almost a decade, most recently leading X-Rite’s R&D and product management, having joined as vice president in 2017. In his new role, he will be responsible for the management of the commercial, support and financial performance of the Esko business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

His experience at X-Rite Pantone leading innovation in colour management and his commercial leadership in Videojet’s packaging and print business will be a great asset, both for Esko and for our customers,” said Fadel.
