The manufacturer said its share of the A2+ market has grown nearly 3% in the third quarter to 93% thanks to product launches such as the Epson Stylus Pro 3880 in September.
Its A1+ market share also grew 3% to 58%, the highest level since 2004. The biggest growth area for Epson was in the 44-inch A0+ printer sector, where its market segment increased 18% on the second quarter of the year.
Epson attributed increased shares across the various sectors to new products such as the 24in Stylus Pro 7900 and 44in Stylus Pro 9900, which are targeted at the packaging proofing and photographic markets.
Both machines use UltraChrome HDR ink, which has 11 colours, including orange and green, offering an increased colour gamut.
Martin Johns, senior product manager of Epson UK, said: "By continual innovation, a focus on quality, and competitive pricing, Epson is the inkjet print technology of choice for many professional graphics users.
"Companies have the confidence that when they invest in an Epson printer, they can offer their customers added value and service for a relatively modest investment."
Epson product launches boost large-format market share
Epson has boosted its UK market share of A2-A0+ printers sold in the UK in the last quarter to 71.5% thanks to recent product launches, the manufacturer has claimed.
