Available immediately, the latest version adds new actions for placing objects and copying pages from other PDFs, fixes to bugs and other improvements.
“With version update 1 of PitStop 2023, we’re continuing to work on making the user experience ever more enjoyable,” said Loïc Aigon, Enfocus’ product manager.
“For example, we've added new possibilities for placing objects in PitStop, allowing users to import PDF documents with greater finesse, or to place control bars with greater precision.
"We've also made several frequently requested fixes and checks, and have good news for users migrating to Mac Sonoma."
PitStop’s latest version now supports the latest version of Apple’s macOS 14 operating system, Sonoma.
Among the details of the update, users will find they can now disable the logging of debug datasets in Switch, bringing a significant processing speed boost on high-volume production flows.
Users can likewise now make use of ‘add overlay’ and ‘add copied graphics’ actions to place selected pages from a PDF into another PDF as a graphic, and have new placement options for adding colour bars to PDF.
The update is available now to PitStop subscribers and Enfocus customers with an active maintenance contract.
In October, Enfocus unveiled plans to move into cloud-based software, with PDF Review to be the first of its products available online.
