Finchmark Graphics has ceased trading with the loss of around 60 jobs after its administrative receiver failed to achieve a sale of the business as a going concern.
A spokesman for administrative receiver Kroll Buchler Phillips said: "We had hoped to achieve a sale but were unable to find a buyer despite considerable interest."
At one time 33 buyers were reported to be interested, and a management buyout was also mooted (PrintWeek, 21 September).
"We will now look to sell off the business assets of the company," said the spokesman.
The sale of Finchmarks direct mail business to Manchester repro firm Gask & Hawley was confirmed last week. A proposed sale of the graphics arm to Wood Mitchell Printers collapsed at the same time.
